Our Meetings
We meet twice a year; once for our Board Meeting and once for our Annual General Meeting (AGM). The meeting location varies, with member countries taking turns to host, and non-Board members are welcome to attend the Board meeting.
At IAPL meetings, members are introduced to the laws and practices of the host country and often visit the High Court or Law Society of that region. We also have seminars on a variety of topical legal issues which in the past have included property fraud, crypto-currencies and insurance markets.
As well as being educational, meetings provide many opportunities for informal conversations about all manner of legal issues.
